Exasol Remains an Overall Leader for Fifth Year in a Row in Dresner’s ADI Report 2022

The high-performance Loading...analytics database remains an Overall Leader for both Customer Experience and Vendor Credibility models.

Exasol was ranked best-in-class across 20 measures including technical support, product customization, value and integrity.

London, 31 January 2022 – For the fifth year in a row, Exasol, the high-performance analytics database, has been named an Overall Leader in both Customer Experience and Vendor Credibility models in the Dresner Advisory Services Wisdom of Crowds® 2022 Analytical Data Infrastructure (ADI) Report. Once again, Exasol also achieved a perfect recommend score which means that 100% of Exasol’s customers who participated in the report would recommend Exasol. With its placement in the upper-right quadrant of the Vendor Credibility model, the report indicates that customers receive high value service from Exasol and have strong confidence in the company.

What’s more, according to Dresner, Exasol was ranked best-in-class across 20 measures including product customization and extensibility, all technical support and consulting measures, overall integrity, and value, and the majority of sales and acquisition measures.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to see that the Exasol platform, for the fifth consecutive year, has been recognized for its superior analytics performance,” said Donald Kaye, Chief Commercial Officer at Exasol. “In an increasingly data-driven world, customers are, and continue to be, at the center of everything that we do. Our outstanding results in Dresner’s latest report is testament to this, reflecting our unique position to deliver a platform that enables us to offer immediate cost relief to our customers as they bridge to the cloud, all without losing performance.”

The Dresner 2022 ADI Market Study provides a detailed picture of perceptions, intentions, and realities associated with ADI platform choices. The report examines market preferences for ADI platforms including deployment and licensing priorities, data types, data modeling/management of data associated with ADI, and data preparation and loading priorities. It also covers leading choices in ADI development and deployment, as well as ADI interfaces and analytical features. According to the report, business intelligence (BI) related use cases – business user reporting and dashboards, specifically – ranked as the top priority for ADI platforms.

The report also found that the majority of business functions prefer a cloud deployment versus on-premise software, with Dresner reporting a clear year-over-year trend in the rising priority of “as-a-cloud service” as a deployment option for ADI. Hybrid deployments was also reported as a growing trend in ADI platform priorities, with data integration and management tools for hybrid ADI platform deployments continuing to increase in priority, as data and fragmentation increases and as the market develops and matures around these hybrid deployments.

Commenting on the announcement, Bill Hostmann, Research Fellow at Dresner Advisory said: “We congratulate Exasol on their outstanding performance in this year’s Dresner ADI report. For another year in a row, the company has maintained a perfect recommended score and has ranked best-in-class in a number of critical value measurement categories, all of which is credit to the value that Exasol’s customers place on its platform.”
