Webtrekk (now Mapp.com), is a Berlin-based company specializing in marketing analytics and customer intelligence software. Its more than 400 customers include the REWE Group and the German football club BILD.de.
Because data in certain marketing tools could be changed retrospectively — for example, a returned item — working with raw data in diverse formats was a must. Webtrekk required a unified database system that could analyze CRM, retargeting tools, and call center data all at once — without having to rely on time-consuming ETL processes.
Webtrekk’s customers expected marketing automation and a data warehouse to upload data from diverse systems.
