Exasol leads the pack.
Over the years, there have been over 220 recorded TPC-H benchmarks. Many database vendors have posted results on a vast range of hardware and at various scale factors up to 100TB. By running the same unbiased scripts you can compare database vendor with database vendor – and you can often see how well the same database runs on different hardware.
For a decade has Exasol maintained its position as the undisputed leader. With data volumes that range from 100GB up to 100TB, Exasol holds the number one position – by a significant margin – for both raw performance and price-performance.
The graph below illustrates the performance advantage of Exasol at all scale factors. Detailed TPC-H results can be found on the Transaction Processing Performance Council website.
The management summary is that Exasol is many times better than its nearest competitor and orders of magnitude better than some names that you might expect to be better.

About the TPC
The TPC is a non-profit corporation founded to define transaction processing and database benchmarks and to disseminate objective, verifiable TPC performance data to the industry.
The term transaction is often applied to a wide variety of business and computer functions. Looked at as a computer function, a transaction could refer to a set of operations including disk read/writes, operating system calls, or some form of data transfer from one subsystem to another.
