What is Data Governance? 

Data governance (DG) is the overall management of the availability, usability, integrity, and security of the data you use. A smart data governance program includes a governing body or council, a defined set of procedures, and a plan to execute those procedures.

Why use Data Governance?

If you enjoy wading through chaos and manically reacting to increasingly unmanageable amounts of data, you can probably do without Data Governance. For everyone else, we think this is essential if you use data in any shape or form within your organization.
