      Problem

      Creating an LDAP authenticated user in EXASolution, leads to the following errormessage:

       Error: [42500] ldap server could not be contacted, use FORCE option to create user
      

      Solution

      This errormessage indicates that something with your LDAP server configuration is wrong. In certain cases this may not be the problem.

      Create the user with the FORCE option and try to login. If the user can login, everything is fine with your LDAP server configuration.
