      Prerequisites:

      • You need "Generic JDBC connections" as "Extra Database Feature" in your license

      Steps:

      1. Upload and configure DB2 JDBC type 4 driver (files db2jcc.jar and db2jcc_license_cu.jar found in C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\java) in EXAoperation
      2. Create a connection in EXASolution:
        create or replace connection db2 to 'jdbc:db2://<<DB2_host>>:50000/<<database_name>>' user '<<user_name>>' identified by '<<password>>';
        
      1. Check connection:
        select * from
        (
          import into (v varchar(200)) from jdbc at db2 statement 'SELECT current timestamp from sysibm.sysdummy1'
        );
