EXASOL beat stiff competition to take the title of 2017’s “Outstanding Structured Database” at Computing’s Big Data and IoT Excellence Awards on 18 May 2017.
The award was presented to EXASOL as it “demonstrated outstanding features, offered something different to the competition, and is simple to use and integrate.” The awards were judged by a panel that included editorial staff from Computing magazine as well as leaders from science and industry.
Computing’s editorial director, Stuart Sumner, took center-stage to announce the winners of the 15 categories spanning big data and IoT. Sebastian Darrington, EXASOL’s UK Managing Director and Aaron Auld, CEO, collected the award.
