EXASOL and Fujitsu Siemens Computers set new reference figure in the 3 TB category

Together with Fujitsu Siemens Computers EXASOL break the record of 1 million queries per hour (QphH) in the 3 TB category of the prestigious TPC-H benchmark.

 

80 24-GB servers were used in the 3 TB category, in which EXASolution 2.1 achieved a top rating of 1,608,920.0 queries per hour to leave the competition behind.

 

 

 
 
The TPC-H Benchmark
The TPC Benchmark™H (TPC-H) is a performance test of the independent Transaction Processing Performance Council (TPC) for data warehouse solutions that is recognized worldwide. Members are leading international database providers and hardware manufacturers. The benchmark simulates data warehouse analyses requiring considerable processing power and measures both the speed and capacity of database solutions. It is based on a number of typical business-process-oriented ad-hoc queries, as well as simultaneous data changes.
