This is how system analysis could proceed:

 

First of all, we take a look at the current status of your data warehouse. This involves checking the data model, the data themselves and report implementation. We analyze your hardware, database system and data warehouse organization. We also document the requirements of the individual departments.

 

Next, we compare the current system load with a reference system and predict the development of the specialist departments. We work with you to develop various scenarios: what are the requirements for the future, how does the load in the data warehouse develop on the basis of predicted growth and what are the alternatives for expansion.

 

To conclude these analyses, we make proposals and develop planning scenarios based on the results obtained. A dedicated procedure is specified that can contain one or several alternatives. For each possible scenario, we submit a project plan together with an estimate of the costs involved. This also contains the necessary resources so you can plan the use of existing capacities.
