EXASOL expands Executive Board with the appointment of Steffen Weissbarth

EXASOL, a leading vendor of a high-performance database management system for precise data analysis, is today announcing that the sales and marketing expert Steffen Weissbarth has been appointed as a new member of its Executive Board. In this function, Weissbarth will be responsible for sales at EXASOL AG.

Steffen Weissbarth has more than 13 years of sales and marketing experience in international senior executive management. Before joining EXASOL, he was head of Sales, Marketing & Services for the entire Dynamics business at Microsoft Switzerland. Mr. Weissbarth began his career in the 1990s at Cognos Germany, where he worked for more than ten years – in his last post there as European Director Global Field Operations for the EMEA region. In these positions, he was able to gather expertise in international project management, in the rollout of coaching concepts and in change management.

As a member of EXASOL’s Executive Board, he will now further expand the awareness of the brand in the field of data warehousing and real-time analytics and the direct sales force as well as a partner network for EXASolution. "I look forward to working with the highly motivated team in Nuremberg to strengthen the innovative brand EXASOL and make it even more well-known," said Weissbarth. "I feel certain that we will be implementing measures to further boost growth."
