You chose who should host your system - you, EXASOL or another provider. Wherever you put it, the EXASOL system ensures reliable and cost-effective operation.
The license includes the following initial services:
- We set up the database on the hardware provided in preparation for the initial data import.
The EXAmonitoring license also includes the following services with statistics about the use of your database:
- Database size
- User behavior (number of concurrent users, number of queries)
- Performance (RAM usage, execution times)
If the customer monitors the system, system monitoring tools can be incorporated, e.g. HP OpenView, IBM Tivoli Monitoring, Nagios.
We work with you to develop clear service level agreements. Choose from our administration models:

- Monitoring integration
- Developing and setting up a backup strategy
- Setting up a VPN
Ongoing backup service
Our regular service checks the validity of your backups and monitors the existing memory capacities. If required, we also change your backup media.
Ongoing active problem solving
Depending on the agreed service level, our Service Team is there for you 24-7. Our team offers a Help Desk with a rapid response to your queries via telephone or e-mail. Our ticketing system delivers dedicated analyses for the respective query.
System Administration Additional package (contains the Basic package)
Process control
We monitor your loading process and check the reports created by the system.
Passive monitoring
Depending on the service level agreement, we monitor your system on all levels, e.g. hardware, database behavior and memory size. This involves regular evaluation of the log files generated.
