Exasol Xperience 2017 comes to town – customers and partners from 20 countries meet to learn, share and network

EXASOL, 22 June 2017: Exasol Xperience 2017 will take place in Berlin from 3-5 July.  Now in its second year, EXASOL’s flagship international customer and partner event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with more than 200 data professionals coming together to learn from each other, network and make new connections as well as share experiences.

Three days packed full of content
The three day event includes sessions for partners as well as users of Exasol’s in-memory analytic database.  From Adidas Group to Monsoon Accessorize, from CTS Eventim to Piedmont Healthcare, from Mangelberger Elektronik to Match2Lists.com, 14 external speakers from a wide range of companies will share their experiences of using the database and how they have built data-driven business models with EXASOL.  Technical workshops will then offer users the ability to learn more about database performance tuning, monitoring, self-service BI as well as key features in v6.0 such as virtual schemas.  The event will be sponsored by 14 technology partners, including Intel, MicroStrategy, Alteryx, Microsoft, Wherescape and Birst.

Keynotes from Tableau and PATH
Alongside key sessions from Aaron Auld (CEO), Mathias Golombek (CTO) and Dr. Jens Graupmann (VP Product Management), Elissa Fink, CMO at Tableau, will hold a keynote on the topic of how to drive the adoption of new technologies through the “three Cs” – connecting cool tech, community and cult brand.  Furthermore, Jeff Bernson, Director of Results Management at PATH Organization, will showcase a more human-centric data story, and how data and analytics, when done right, can help save lives.  Notably, he will discuss the use of analytics in the current project to help the government of Zambia to eradicate malaria (#visualizenomalaria).

Sean Jackson, CMO at EXASOL, says: “EXASOL Xperience event is a great forum for our international users and partners, as well as those companies who are evaluating our database, to come together and learn from one another as well as give us great feedback on our technology.   We look forward to hosting over 200 people from the EXASOL community at a fun-filled and informative 3-day event in Berlin.”
