Into the New Year with great expectations: EXASOL accelerates growth

Numerous new customers, strategic partnerships and promising sales figures – looking forward to a great New Year, EXASOL has its sights on even further growth. Moreover, the company will announce new version of its software coming mid 2016

Nuremberg, January 28th, 2016 – EXASOL, the global market leader for Loading...in-memory database solutions, was able to increase its customer base substantially, both in Germany and internationally in 2015.

In Germany, companies such as EnBW, the Berner Group and Gruner + Jahr now enjoy EXASOL’s extremely fast Loading...in-memory analytic database and comprehensive service. Internationally, EXASOL’s new customers include King (GB), Atheon Analytics (GB), Digital Alchemy (AUS), VPT (GB) and Badoo (GB).

In addition, EXASOL has entered important strategic partnerships that allow for increased coverage in the area of analytics, higher market penetration and generating additional value from customer data.

EXASOL’s new strategic partnerships with Birst – adaptive BI tool vendor, and BOARD – producer of a Management Intelligence toolkit, as well as Cosmino – vendor of a solution for product and process optimization during production, add to the company’s existing partnerships, including with the leading vendor for Loading...data visualization software, Tableau. EXASOL will continue to expand its cooperation with other known market experts to further its expertise and to offer our current and potential customers even more comprehensive solutions.

New year – new growth

Continuing its stable growth of the last years, in 2016, EXASOL now has over 100 customers in 16 countries. This adds up to a year-on-year increase of new customers by 40%. Michael Konrad (COO/CFO) joined the board of directors, and EXASOL is looking to expand its team further in 2016. Apart from major markets in the UK and Germany, scaling up operations in Scandinavia and France will be the focus of this year.

EXASOL version 6.0 is currently in the works and is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2016. “Our team has been working on continuously improving our software,” says Mathias Golombek, CTO at EXASOL. “The new version will further increase performance and implement ‘logical data warehousing’ in an in-memory database in a very elegant way”.
