Alongside the company’s own multi-dimensional database for planning and reporting, BOARD’s dual engine puts great emphasis on offering fast relational access to data so users can run reports on large data volumes as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Now, with an interface to EXASOL, the combination of BOARD’s toolset and EXASOL’s fast analytic database is an ideal solution for customers who are faced with growing data volumes and who need to meet the ever-increasing demand from their users for self-service BI; moreover, the BOARD interface also supports write-back to EXASOL database. Using the new interface, users can integrate EXASOL into BOARD’s platform with just a few clicks. To complement the new technology partnership, both companies will also undertake joint sales activities.
