EXASOL AG expands to the USA
EXASOL AG opened its first North American office in Silicon Valley in January 2014 as it continues to grow internationally. It is being supported in its expansion by the German Silicon Valley Accelerator (GSVA) program of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The Nuremberg-based company impressed during the selection process with innovative technology and a clear go-to-market strategy.
Nuremberg, Germany, January 14, 2014 – Together with eleven other German technology companies, EXASOL AG was able to impress during the GSVA application process which involved a total of 70 competitors. As a result, EXASOL AG now has a presence in Silicon Valley as of January 2014 and benefits from privileged access to this strategically important market.

The German Silicon Valley Accelerator is a three to six-month program that aims to facilitate the entry of German companies into the US market by means of a strong local support network. The program is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the BMWi’s EXIST program, and a number of private sponsors, partners and financial backers. Its vision is to establish a permanent bridge between German technology companies and Silicon Valley with the GSVA’s support so as to enable access to the world’s largest venture capital market as well as to drive research and development in addition to economic growth.
