EXASOL AG and Tableau Software enter into partnership to provide data discovery and visualization to the EXASolution in-memory platform

Nuremberg-based in-memory database company to work with US specialists for visual analytics.

Nuremberg, 29th of August 2013 - EXASOL AG is expanding its partner network with US company, Tableau Software (NYSE: DATA). Tableau is now offering its customers a native connector to the EXASolution in-memory database to visualize their data. The software provider, based on innovative core technologies originally developed at Stanford University, enables rapid, simple and user-friendly visual evaluation of data of all sizes and formats. The visual analytics approach couples the power of automatic data analysis with the human ability to rapidly detect patterns and trends. This allows for the optimal display of extremely large quantities of data and directly serves the decision-making process.

EXASolution is a relational high-performance database specifically designed for enterprise warehouse applications and business intelligence solutions. Areas of application include complex analyses, comprehensive data research, planning and reporting. The possibility of linking unstructured data with traditional data and performing rapid searches in real time offers users a solid basis for reaching sound decisions.
