The out-of-the-box solution that manages business processes efficiently and reduces TCO

Whether you are traveling on a train, sitting in a waiting room or working out on a treadmill in a health club, the ability to watch your favorite shows on a smartphone or stay up-to-date with the latest news continues to gain in popularity. However, this contrasts with unstable mobile data connections, low monthly traffic limits and poorly optimized media offerings for mobile devices. Berlin-based start-up, Dailyme TV, saw this gap in the market and reacted accordingly. The company has developed a service that downloads TV content via wireless networks and makes it available offline. Close to five million dailyme users currently watch videos every month. The app is used by over 500,000 unique mobile users (UMUs) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and the numbers are only growing. In order to analyze the huge amounts of data that is produced and collected every day more efficiently - for instance, to create invoices or to know which content is more popular - the company relies on EXASOL‘s in-memory analytic database.
