The training course concentrates on the tasks of an EXASolution administrator. The following topics are covered:

 

  • System structure of the EXASOL system from the point of view of the administrator and the user
  • Use of the administration tool for the EXASOL system
  • Installation and use of EXAplus
  • Administration of the database and of the DB schemas
  • Rights and user administration in EXASolution
  • Properties and behavior of the transaction system
  • Configuration of access to the various services of the EXASOL system
  • Backup concepts and strategy and their implementation
