A comprehensive introduction to EXASolution. After outlining the objectives addressed by EXASOL, the most important concepts and the EXASolution architecture are introduced. The following topics are covered:

 

  • Overview of the EXASOL program suite
  • EXASolution, the cluster system (I/O, stability, scalability)
  • EXASolution, the RDBMS (parallelism, data distribution, main memory algorithms, compression)
